Easter Sunday

It was so exciting to be able to celebrate Easter as a family and with our extened families.

We woke up early and Peyton got to see what the Easter Bunny left her

We attended church with the whole Roberts family, and finally got a family picture.

Family, Food and Fun

Determined to make the most out of our holiday weekend on Saturday, we joined some family for delicious BBQ and since it was so beautiful outside we got to enjoy the outdoors.

EGGS!

This year Aunt Jilly hosted an Easter dyeing party at her house, complete with a swim party for the kids. Not only did Peyton get to dye her first eggs, she got to show off her bikini. I bought this bikini at lunch one day with Roni when I had just found out I was having a little girl, and I have been waiting since then to try it on Peyton.

Easter Party at School

Thursday Peyton's class at Katering to Kids had an Easter Party for her class. I love that they do all the fun things just like the big kids.

Meeting the Easter Bunny

Two weeks ago, Nana, Peyton, and I were headed to The Woodlands Mall so Peyton could take her first picture with the Easter Bunny, when I was rear-ended on FM 2920. I had never been in a car accident and Peyton was crying so we eneded up calling 9-1-1. Once the police and an ambulance came, they took my Mom to the hospital because she was having back pains. But everything checked out fine. When the paramedics were checking Peyton out, she was laughing and smiling back, so we didn't continue with a trip for her to the hospital. Thanks goodness for safe infant car seats.
We attempeted the trip again on Sunday, and some how we timed it perfectly and were able to walk right up and take the picture.

Spring in Spring

Since Spring only lasts in Texas for a couple of weeks we have been trying to take advantage of the beautiful weather outside. A tailtale sign that Spring is here is the blooming of bluebonnets along the highway getting to take the traditional pictures in a field. I was so excited to get to do this year, as children Jill and I would take these pictures and I love to be starting the same tradition for Peyton.
Could she get any cuter?

Cousin Love

Such a sweet moment
I love this picture!

Poor baby, had allergies and was still smiling!

she smiles at everything Avery does)

Do you think she knows how much she is loved?

Such a girl! She refused to sit on the grass
