First Day of School - Kindergarten

At Meet the Teacher Mrs. Shwartz sent home this letter for each student, P patiently (not so patiently) to open it the night before school started. It had "Jitter Glitter" to help her get a good night sleep before she started school.

We woke up early and got ready, and took the obligatory first day pictures.

Driving away was difficult and as sad as I am that she is growing up, I know she is up for the challenge of Kindergarten.

Meet the Teacher - Kindergarten

Peyton's school had a meet the teacher event to help the kids with their transition to Kindergarten.

Peyton has Mrs. Schwartz this year, and we are so excited to see what the year has in store for her!

Pre-K Graduation

P gradated Pre-K at Katering 2 Kids. Her daycare has been so amazing these past 5 1/2 years and it has bee so nice to have her at a place where I knew she was loved and cared for. Her teachers have gotten her so ready for Kindergarten and I can't wait for all she is going to learn.

She lead the prayer and I could not have been more proud!

Triggy's Shower

We are getting closer to Triggy getting married and had her Bridal Shower in late August.
Everything turned out perfect and was so pretty.

Next up in wedding festivities is the Bachelorette Party in Las Vegas!

Take Your Daughter to Work

Although it wasn't an official day, P has asked all summer to come and see my work. I got permission and she got to come to Transocean with me on a Friday.

It was so fun to be able to show her off to everyone and for her to see my office and all that I do. I know she doesn't have any concept of my job, but I hope she knows that all I do is for her!

Funny story... everyone at the office knows of P's love of Presidential trivia, so my boss, Todd had a fun trivia session for her. One question he asked was, "Where was John F. Kennedy shot?" Peyton quickly raised her hand and I was kinda impressed that she knew the answer. Todd called on her and she proudly announced "In the head!"
She is just the best!
