Chain-O-Lakes 2011

We headed up to Chain-O-Lakes, now called Artesian Lakes, this weekend for some family fun. I have so many wonderful memories of this place that getting to go as an adult and watch Peyton play is very special to me.

Raegan was a great baby sitter all weekend! Everytime I turned around she was helping me with something! Such a good helper!!

Nana went down the slide too but ended up chipping a bone in her hand and now has to wear a splint and go to physical therapy!

By Sunday we were all pretty tired and ended up just hanging around the cabin!

Such a fun and relaxing weekend! I can't wait for Chain-O 2012!!

A Weekend Away

This past weekend, I went to San Antonio for Kristan and Andy's Wedding. It was my first night away from P, and although I know she would be spoiled and taken care of I couldn't help but be a little nervous.

Novey and I headed up there Saturday and made it to the wedding with minutes to spare.

There was a gap between the ceremony and reception, so Brandy and I made a quick trip to the Alamo.

First Preseason Game

Peyton was ready for her first pre-season Texans game, all decked out in her gameday gear!

Her jersey is a little big, but she is ready for a great Texans season.

On Sunday we drove just north of Huntsville to visit some property, Papaw, Gramsy, Uncle Aaron and Aunt Marie are in the process of buying. Peyton slept the whole drive up there, and had a blast in the Piney Woods.

Afterwards we went to Juan and Lefty's for dinner.

P developed a fear of caps and was upset when Papaw put his on her head.

But Gramsy made it better.

Well, that and a sip of water made it better.

Happy Birthday Nana and Grandpa

On Wednesday, we had dinner in honor of Nana and Grandpa's birthday at Los Cucos. It's always fun to get everyone together and watch Avery and Peyton interact.

Avery asked to feed Peyton....how could I say no!

On an effort to get Avery to eat her dinner too, it was decided in between her bites for Peyton Aunt Chrissy would feed her.
