Happy Valentine's Day

This year, I have started a new hobby, I am learning how to sew and I have the perfect little model. I made Peyton's skirt, shirt and bow/flower. I guess 6 am isn't a good time for a modeling session, because I couldn't get a smile out of her or get her to stand to show how cute the skirt fits.

I think I have the cutest Valentine of all!!

Upset about something, but at least you can see the bow I made.

At the Holak House

Saturday we headed over to see the Holak's as both Kaitlyn and Avery were spending the night, and to wish Aunt Donna a Happy Birthday. It's so fun to see Avery and Kaitlyn playing together and each were very helpful in taking care of "Baby Peyton". I think the day is coming when P will no longer be "Baby Peyton", maybe once Brady is here he will take the "Baby" and she will just be Peyton.

TUBES!

Last Friday, Peyton had tubes put in her ears and her adnoids removed. We went and saw Dr. Zarin, who has been the "family" ENT for a long time. He even did Aunt Jilly's tubes when she was little. The hardest part was the waiting, and having a sleepy baby who wanted a sippy cup when she woke up.

Her surgery was at TOPS, where Aunt Jilly used to work. As soon as we told them P was Jilly's neice, she got some special treatment.

Rub A Dub Dub

Lately, my favorite part of the day is watching P take a bath. She LOVES it!! She plays with every toy and can say "Duck" when playing with her rubber duckies. Every night she has to line them up on the edge of the tub and if they fall, it's a very dramatic "Uh-Oh".

And yes, her hair does that on it's own...what can I say, the mohawk has a mind of it's own.

I've recently starting giving her the tooth brush with toddler toothpaste, she LOVES it.
She normally lets me brush her teeth and then she takes over.

I took it away because she kept dunking the toothbrush in the bathwater.

She was NOT happy.

I broke and gave it back and the tears stopped immediately. She is dramatic...I wonder where she gets it from.
