My Lil Pumpkin

This year we picked out our pumpkins and brought them over to Meme's for some carving/painting with Triggy. Peyton was very excited and worked very hard to paint it pink, even though the paint wasn't staying on very good.





Peyton was so excited about the finished product, we had to go get Aunt Donna and Uncle Daniel from across the street to bask in their awesomeness. She was so proud of them! We are now ready for Halloween!

Magic Word

This morning as soon as P woke up, this was our conversation:

P: I want milk.
Me: Well, that's not how you ask for it?
{silence}
Me: You need to say the Magic Word...
P: Abracadabra, I want milk.

That's my girl!! I totally stepped into that one, and she doesn't miss an opportunity.

It's Fall, Yall!!

Well fall finally came to Texas and we are loving the break in temperature. In fact it was so nice I decided it was too perfect to go to work so P and I played hooky and had a fun day at the zoo. It was our best trip yet, no one was there so we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves.

While feeding the ducks, we were overwhelmed by a swarm of pigeons. P thought they were all ducks and had a blast feeding them too.

It ended up being a PERFECT day spent together. I'm so glad that were able to spend some quality time outdoors!
