This year we went to Bebe's house and rang in 2015 with family. Explaining the new year to a 4 year old was difficult, so I basically just agreed with her when she asked if it was the Earth's birthday. I figure I have some time before I need to get into the whole BC and AD time frames with her.
Both her and Brady were obsessed with the fireworks, specifically the poppers and sparklers. I bet between the 2 of them they went through 50 sparklers. It was cold and rainy but we didn't let it slow us down.
I always think that Avery and Peyton will be so close, but then Peyton hangs out with Brady and they are always together. And the age difference between her and Avery shows and I remember P and Brady are only 16 months apart and will probably be very close too.

New Years morning, Jill and I left the kids with Brian and went to the New Years sale at Dillards. I was not prepared for it, but got some incredible deals! I can't wait to go again next year!!!
They did not want the air mattress deflated!
Later that day, I made a cabbage rolls, black eye peas and mashed potatoes and they turned out sooooo good! I was super excited! Maybe that little bit of Polish in me is stronger than I think.
I am excited for the new adventures 2015 will bring our way!
