Showered with Love

We have been so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends that have come together to throw us 4 wonderful showers.
First, was a surprise shower hosted by some of my best friends from Jr high and high school. I had no idea it was coming, but I should have had a clue that something was up when I asked Ethan if he wanted to carve pumpkins that night. He said yes, but that we needed to swing by the house first. Well when I opened the door there were my friends. Let me just tell you, there is a reason why you don't normally have surprise baby showers because when they jumped out, I started to pee my pants. Nice! But it was a great time and I am thankful to have each of their friendships. I don't have any pictures from that shower, yet.

The second shower was my big one.
A special thanks to all my hostesses, that made it so special.
Thanks Jill, Brandy, Jennifer, Christine, Sam and Novey, somehow we managed to go the whole shower without taking a group picture.

Jill ended up getting this awesome tree that everyone signed and added thumb print leaves to be displayed in Peyton's room. It is adorable and such a creative way to display all of the people who attended the shower.

Do you think we got a lot??

The best kind of surprise, a Coach Diaper bag! (Thanks Nana!)

The next week, I had my Corporate Accounting shower at Transocean. I am lucky enough to work with some wonderful friends who threw another shower for us. I feel like they have all been involved in every aspect of my pregnancy. It's nice to work with such a great group, they have been there through the highs and lows and I don't think I would have survived without them.

Another delicious cake!

Ethan even came as a surprise, even with the beard. :)

Personalized bloomers!
Our take home...
We got the car seat, stroller, and baby monitors, and tons of baby supplies.

Finally, I transferred to the Risk department in October. They also threw me a small shower, and we were stocked up on gift cards.

We are now ready for Peyton to make her appearance.
