Dear Peyton,

How are we back here again?!? I know I say every year that this age is my favorite, but I think you just keep getting better at every age. TOMORROW YOU ARE FIVE?!?! My goodness, you are getting so old. I love how inquisitive you are at this age. You take nothing at face value, you need a deep dive into the logistics or inner workings of everything!!! You are hilarious! I never know what is going to come out of your mouth. You keep me and Triggy laughing with your quick wit and sarcasm. I think one of your favorite phrases is "just kidding!" As soon as you make a joke. Another of my favorites is "AAAAND...." As you tell a story. I'm so proud of the girl you have become. Your heart is so big and you care deeply for your family and friends. Watching you grow in Faith, makes my heart so happy! Your prayers, although they can linger as you tell them, is another favorite of mine. We just got back from a Disney cruise with Nana and had a blast, I love traveling with you and cannot wait to add to this list of places we will see together. 

Every year it gets a little harder to describe how much I love you and how much you mean to me! You are the joy in my life and I am ever aware of the blessing you are. No matter how hectic daily life can be, I wouldn't change a tired night with you for anything! We have so much to look forward to in your 5th year of life, you will start Kindergarten which I am sure will be huge for us both!! 

As you quote nightly, I love you to the moon and back, to the sun and back, to the clouds and back, to the stars and back, to infinity and beyond!!!

Halloween 2015

Since P is still at Katering 2 Kids, she was able to wear 2 costumes. For school, she let me be creative and she was a crazy cat lady!! I have to say this might be my favorite costume ever...maybe even better than the do-nut from last year. 

Christine got to go to her school to see her trick or treat around the building.

I dressed up for work, we were the Ghostbusters. I was the Stay Puff Marshmellow. We won best group costume.

For Halloween, I had a Mal. She has watched the Disney Channel movie, Descendants at least a thousand times and I let her be the main character, which is Maleficent's daughter.

Pumpkin Patch

This year rather than a big trip to Dewberry Farms, P and I headed to a local church for some pumpkins. 

She is just the cutest!! 

Afterwards, we headed to the mall and ended up at the Disney store for the Halloween preview party. She got to sing and dance around the store with the employees. 

In the Country

There is nothing quite as fun as spending time with family when the weather is nice. We headed up to the country and carved pumpkins.

Weekend with Cousins

We hosted Avery and Brady for the weekend while Jill and Brian went on a cruise for their 10 year anniversary. We had a blast and was excited that Kaitlyn could come over for Friday night and the zoo.

When you are at Aunt Rays and only have girl toys, you make the best of it!

Brady was upset that the girls would not play with him, so I found him something to do.... wash my windows. He was so proud of himself, and my windows are super clean.... from the waist down at least.

Time is just flying by and we are having a great summer!

We had a Mommy and Me bowling date! 

And saw Mary Poppins with Nana

When traffic has been really bad, we have escaped to dinner at Luby's!

Met some sweet piglets at the Pet Store in the Mall.
