Father's Day Weekend

Ethan was working late on Thursday, so Peyton and I started our weekend a little early this week with dinner with Nana at Chili's. She loves sitting at the table in her seat. She is a people watcher, so the busier the restaurant and the more she has to look at the better she likes it.

On Saturday night, we left Peyton with Nana and we ventured in the Loop for a Couples shower honoring Kristan and Andy. I have known Kristan since we were 16 in high school and Ethan played baseball with Andy growing up. It was nice to see everyone and catch up. Brandy cam up with a great idea and after the shower we went to Pete's Dueling Piano Bar. I love that place! We had a great time singing Journey as loud as we could and laughing at the guys behind the piano.

On Sunday, Peyton and I woke up early to make Father's Day special for Ethan. First thing on the list was to sign all of the cards for all of the special Dads in our lifes.

She included a little message :)

Now it was time to sign the cards to PaPaw and Grampa

We let Ethan sleep in and we made breakfast, French Toast, bacon, and sausage. My parents AC had gone out on Saturday, so Nana had spent the night. It was soooo nice to have her help so I could cook and get everything ready.

Getting ready to go to Gramsy and PaPaw's. Not only was it Father's Day but it was Aunt Jen's birthday, so we went and celebrated with an early dinner.

Happy Father's Day Ethan! You are such an amazing Dad! Peyton is so lucky to have you.
